Flaunt Film: Lady Gaga "Alejandro"

Lady Gaga's video for "Alejandro" recently premiered. This song is kinda hot and although she stated that the video is a "celebration of my love and appreciation for the gay community", I think it's also safe to say that it's an appreciation to Madonna along the past videos she's done!

Flaunt Film: VV Brown's "Game Over"

I'm really liking this gal! Her look, her sound, her voice, and her name! Not to mention she has a vintage boutique where she collects specific pieces and tweaks them out a bit. Unfortunately the page is down for some reason but for future reference it's called VVVintage. Any-whoo this video is amazing as far as the styling and she's flaunting each ensemble with grace. VV Brown's other single entitled "Shark In the Water" is a great song too and I would have loved to post the video but embedding is disabled ugh! On a positive note enjoy if you haven't seen this already!

Flaunt Film: "Rude Boy" by Rihanna

Rihanna's new video is out for her 3rd single "Rude Boy" from Rated R. Finally for once it's not dark, scary and too edgy. It kind of reminds me of when she first came out representing her island roots. Anyway all together I thought it was ok, I just think it lacked creativity in the treatment. Sometimes I'm not into the green-screen digital thing ya know, it all starts looking the same. I do like how she paired the Alexander McQueen leggings with the royal blue bustier along with her G-Shock watches that are intertwined to be worn as a bracelet (creative!). Also I guess she's really diggin' her full piece body suits these days! Oh and for those you visit regularly, I saved your ears from hearing this song upon arrival from my playlist....your welcome :)

I wanted to post this video the day it came out, but again I've been pretty tied up with moving! Any-whoo I'm sure most of you have seen it by now & it's so HOT HOT HOT of course without surprize! I'm loving the military-chic,"hard" image Rihanna is flaunting too. Plus I'm loving the nice shout-out to us bloggers! "Where dem bloggers at? Where dem bloggers at? Where they at, where they at, where they at?" lol Oh... and is it me or does Rihanna seem to be showing off her boobies and bum alot these days? I guess flaunt it if you got it, right?!!

Flaunt Film: "Lil Girl" ft. Fatima by Shafiq Hasayn

So a while back I filmed a lip singing role for Shafiq Husayn's music video "Lil Girl" ft Fatima for his project "En-A-Free-Ka". Shafiq happens to be a friend of a friend so a few of my other friends were also featured! Mind you we were asked last min so I literally had to learn the entire song on the drive over & it was not easy! So now I have an even greater appreciation for real artists :) Any-whoo here's the video which features Avriel Epps with cameo appearances from Erykah Badu, Talib Kweli, Jay Electronica, Thundercat, and Wood Harris. Everyone looks absolutely beautiful and the final edit looks amazing, shout out to Greg Ponsting! What do you think of the video & can you find me Flaunt Followers lol?! (hint: 0:24, 0:30...) Flaunt Famous Gal: Michelle Stafford of Young & The Restless

Yesterday was the 36th annual Daytime Emmy-Awards here in Los Angeles. I went to the Young & The Restless after party and had an amazing time. There was food, desserts, tasty mojitos and of course beautiful people including the entire cast. Amongst the Young & The Restless crowd of course, was popular character Phyllis, played by Michelle Stafford. She mentioned how the original dress she wore to the awards had a train that was too long so she did a quick change before the event. She looked stunning not to mention her personality was filled with great positivity. This pic was taking after chatting with the Emmy-award winning actress, who is wearing Dolce & Gabbana, her own gold strappy heels, and eye-catching floral diamonds.

Flaunt Film: No Doubt "Running"

This is such a beautiful song done by one of my favorite artists No Doubt. Listen to the words carefully and you'll see why it's perfect for any hopeless romantic like myself :) I even want Gwen to sing this at my wedding!!! Gwen also looks stunning in every shot, especially on the beach w/ her fellow band members. Her look is simple yet classic and she stands out without any effort. Gotta love that Gwen!!

To get Gwen's Look: Saahara Sandels-Steve Madden, Maxi Dress-Paul & Joe Pierre Cardin for Paul & Joe, Belt-Alexander McQueen

To accomplish Gwen's look go for a more modern feel with a maxi dress. To incorporate that pop of red color from Gwen's lipstick, a red belt for the waist is perfect and will also reveal your flattering silhouette. To finish the look wear simple sandals, preferably a neutral tone so that there isn't too much print and color all in one outfit. Sandals are also great for the beach & perfect for "Running" :)

Flaunt Film: Ciara "WORK"

Alright-y, so this video has been out for quite some time however it's fairly new and SUPER hot!! Ciara is really doing what she does best just like she did in the beginning. I miss this entertaining aspect of music in general....seriously I really do. Not to mention her ensembles are stunning and work very well with the impressive scenery. She's almost like our modern day Janet and i luv it, plus personally this video does a couple things for me:

a. Makes me feel bad but hype to want to "work"...workout that is, after seeing her intense body!

b. Learn the main dance moves, so that I'm ready to bust-a-move at the club or at any given moment! lol

c. Go buy a suuuuupppper long pony tail....you'll see why!

Anyway Ciara does the damn thing and she's definitely getting her flaunt on!!!

Flaunt Film: "Digital Girl" ft. Jamie Foxx, The Dream, Kanye, & Drake

Last week I was on the video shoot set of "Digital Girl" ft. Jamie Foxx, The Dream, Kanye West, & Drake. I was there on behalf of Dawn Hanyes, image innovator of Common, Eddie Murphy, Jamie Foxx, Halle Berry and more! Dawn was specifically styling Jamie Foxx and provided some accesories for The Dream because he really wanted some of her magic touch!

I was also filming behind the scene footage of Dawn doing what she does best which features other image influencers such as makeup artist Eric Ferell & LaLette Littlejohn, hair stylist Deidra Dixon, & agency owner Dion Peronneau. Drake, Electrick Red, & The Dream also made cameo appearances. Everyone was really cool and professional. More exclusive footage coming soon & stay tuned for the music video, "Digital Girl"!

Back in March I styled a photo shoot for an amazing beautiful actress, Kent King. She is best known for her roles in General Hospital and Port Charles, for all you soap opera fanatics. I first meet Kent through a mutual friend & was re-introduced from another friend when she was looking for a stylist for her photo shoot. So since then we worked together to establish "the look", which called for a bit of Hollywood glam meets sexy & edgy. It required a bit of pulling here and there and the shoot lasted about a full day. I loved how the results came out, but Flaunt-Followers what are your thoughts?
